كاندي تزور ليبيا
أعلمتنا مصادر مقرّبة من وزارة
الخارجيّة الأمريكيّة بان وزيرة الخارجيّة كونداليسا رايس ترتّب لأن تضمّ ليبيا
إلى رحلة قادمة ستقوم بها عبر شمال أفريقيا. ويبدو أن وزارة الخارجيّة الأمريكيّة
تفترض،أو لعلّها حصلت على معلومات،تؤكّد أن قضيّة الممرّضات البلغاريّات والطبيب
الفلسطيني ستُحلّ لصالحهم،وهي القضيّة التي حالت حتى الآن بين كونداليسا رايس
وبين زيارتها لليبيا.
وبهذا يتراءى لنا أن الوزارة
الأمريكيّة نسيت استمرار ليبيا في انتهاكها لحقوق مواطنيها،وكذلك ما تضعه من
عراقيل أمام التسوية النهائيّة لطائفة من قضايا أخرى،بما فيها قضيّة لابيل وتأخير
سداد القسط النهائي في قضيّة لوكربي. فهي كما يبدو ليست حريّة بعدم الذهاب إلى
ليبيا مثل قضيّة الممرّضات.
وحسبما يتّضح في عيون الليبيين،فإن
إصرار الأمريكيين والأوربيين على أن المسألة المهمّة التي تستحقّ إهتمامهم هي
مسألة البلغاريين،ليدلّ على توجيه إهانة حقيرة،وصفعات من التمييز العنصري المشين
لليبييين.. ألا يستحقّ الليبيّون،الذين يكابدون في زنزانات آل القذّافي لسنوات
طويلة،لفتة هم أيضا؟

condi to Libya
Sources close to the US State Department informed us that US
Secretary of State Condi Rice is planning to include Libya on an upinfoing trip
through North Africa. It seems that the State department assumes, or may
actually have information, that the case of the Bulgarian nurses and the
Palestinian Doctor, which has prevented Ms. Rice from going to Libya, will be
resolved favorably.
Ms. Rice , and the US State department, seems to have
forgotten however that Libya's continued abuses of the Human Rights of its
citizens and the obstacles it is putting in front of reaching final settlement
on a host of other cases, inc. La belle and the delayed Lockerbie final
payment, should be as much of a good reason to not go to Libya as the Medics
case.
In the eyes of Libyans, the US's & EU's insistence that the
only case worth being concerned about is the case of the Bulgarians, is
insulting , despicable and smacks of utter racism.
Don't Libyan citizens who are languishing in the Gaddafi
Family dungeons for years deserve as much recognition
