“In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful”
The infomittee for Libyan National Action in Europe
Letter to The Family Members, Friends and Colleagues of PC Yvonne Fletcher
17th April 2006
Please accept our heartfelt condolences and respect on this day that marks the tragic killing of PC Yvonne Fletcher. She was a dedicated police officer carrying out her duties in the exemplary manner that is the mark of the Metropolitan Police. She fell victim to the random and reckless effects of international terrorism practiced by the Libyan regime.
It is with great regret and remorse that Libyans all over the world remember this incident. It is a shameful moment in our history.
To mark this anniversary, the Libyan infomittee for Action in Europe is holding a ceremony for the laying down of wreaths at the site in St. James’ Square in London where the shooting took place.
Best Wishes.
The infomittee for Libyan National Action in Europe
“The infomittee for Libyan National Action in Europe is determined in its struggle for regime change in Libya and for the restoration of legitimate constitutional government. It will continue to organise demonstrations and rallies against the current regime in UK and all across Europe until the Libyan people win their freedom and justice is served”
